Below, are the information of almost all the monsters in RE2.

Zombie The most common enemy in the game. They are civillians of Raccoon who turned into cannibals who goes around eating people up. Killing them is easy. Just shoot them from a distance. If you are using a knife, stab the back and run to the back of the zombie. Keep doing this until the zombie falls and stab him quick. Never kill a zombie too closely, even using a gun. Chances are you'll get bitten before you can raise the weapon up.	Zombie Dogs These doggies are infected by the T-virus and are very quick and alert. Try not to use a knife to kill them. Even if you have to, stab it while it is down. While using a gun, try to reposition yourself often to have less chances of being bitten.
Licker The Re3 series. They are very quick and while fighting them, you can get cornered very quickly. Never ever try kill it with the knife. Use a gun with a powerful punch. Handguns are not good and powerful enough. Even if you have to, run around and shoot it in the open and reposition yourself very quickly when they are approaching.	Spiders These spiders aren't very quick but their poison is deadly. One shot of their poison and you have to get the blue herbs quick. They are usually overhead so it's rather hard to fight them. The best way is to dodge them and run. Attack them only when they are on the walls and one the ground. Try to use weapons which kills them in one shot.
Moths You don't see them in the game quite often. They only appear in the lab. To kill the moths are easy, just shoot them with any weapons. Any weapons can kill it with one shot. For the boss, use high blasting guns to kill it quick.	G-Mutation Depending which character you are playing with, this monster is what Chief Irons or Ben will turn into after the small little bug went into their body. This monster is quite easy to kill but, beware of the little ones. They are a real trouble. To kill the small one, either run over them or use a weapon to shoot them dead. For the large G-Mutation, use a powerful weapon and shoot non-stop. Stand on a spot and shoot but be sure to run away from the tiny ones.
Red Ivy A living and moving plant. The red series are harder to kill and cause more damage. Be sure to brun them with the falme rounds or the flamethrowers if you want them out of your sight quickly.	Green Ivy Not as powerful as the red series but the poison is deadly. Use any weapons which produces flame like the flame rounds for the grenade launcher or the flamethrower.
Mr X Mr X only appears in Scenario B. It is also known as the Tyrant 103 is programmed to get the G-Virus sample. Not knowing that you do not have the sample, it will follow you and tries to get the sample. He is an idiot and is quite slow and does run. However, you should kill him quick as his punch is a true killer. Use a grenade launcher or the shotgun to kill him quick. In the middle of the game, he'll mutate and turn into a more deadly Tyrant, with claws. This time, it is much more faster and is more deadly. To kill him without getting mch damage, you have to run and shoot, run and shoot. Shoot him when ever you have the space and shoot quickly. Never get cornered or you'll find it very hard to get away.	Giant Crocodile Very easy to kill. Don't try shooting it down when you can kill it with a little help from the oxygen tank. First, when you regain control of your character as soon as you see the crocidile, run ntil you reach the oxygen cylinder near the exit of the corridor. Check it and it'll fall out. Wait for the crocodile to grab the cylinder and shoot it with any weapon,(Don't use the knife, or you'll die along with it)and the cylinder will explode, blasting the crocodile's upper jaw away.
William The mutated form of Mr William Birkin. Here, he is the real boss of the game. He is not as easy to kill but if you use the run and shoot, run and shoot technique, it'll be easy to kill him. Look at the 'Cheats and Tips' page for more information to kill him.	Crows These crows are easy to outrun and does not requires much killing. A knife can be used for them. However, if you sees them, just run and hit for the door. Ignore them and escape quick.
